President Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn was due to be sentenced this morning for lying to the FBI about his contacts with a Russian ambassador. He’d be the first White House official to be sentenced in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. But within the last hour Flynn’s lawyers argued he wanted to carry on co-operating.
