FEC Complaints

You know what’s almost as bad as the Trump campaign conspiring with numerous (and mostly hostile) Foreign Governments to steal our 2016 election?

Ultra wealthy donors, who’s ideology is less than philanthropic and for that matter, less than Christian. Their political views are beyond extreme. These spiritual-hypocrites push for Public Policy, that by all appearances leaves the only logical conclusion: their views closely mirror Donald Trump’s, which is entirely disappointing and frightening.

Their blatant hypocrisy is offensive. I thought after Charlottesville, they would repudiate Trump’s White Nationalist false equivalence, they didn’t.  The silence from the Evangelicals was AND is deafening. One can assume their silence means they have ZERO problem with Trump having numerous extramarital affairs, paying  his mistresses “hush money”, lying on a pathological level, portraying himself as the Evangelical’s “idol” and his authoritarian bullying tactics. All characteristics unworthy of the highest office in our Country.

What part of the 10 Commandments do these Evangelicals “Christian” Trump supporters not understand? No really what do they not understand about God’s Holy Law?

  1. I am the Lord thy God, thou shall not have any gods before me.
  2. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything.
  3. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.
  4. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
  5. Honor your father and your mother.
  6. You shall not murder.
  7. You shall not commit adultery.
  8. You shall not steal.
  9. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
  10. You shall not covet your neighbor's house, wife, or prope

Meaning these ultra wealthy, mainly white Republicans want to keep America as White as possible and as Ultra Conservative as possible. I’m not talking Reagan Republican, I’m talking Steve Bannon and Donald Trump, White Nationalist Conservative “the purge” extreme:

      • Anti-Immigration, even Legal immigration
      • More Guns
      • More Religion, like ultra evangelical Christian
      • Incomprehensible tax cuts

In fairness I plan to write up a separate entry for top Democrat donors too, because I’m an equal opportunity critic. So brace for that entry, soon-ish...But back to the Trump and GOP. Case in point families like:

    • Sheldon Adelson c/o Las Vegas Sands/Adelson Drug Clinic $82.5M
    • Richard & Elizabeth Uihlein c/o Uline Inc $28.8M
    • Paul Singer c/o Elliott Management $26.7M
    • Robert & Diana Mercer c/o MFF & dozens of PACs $25.6M
    • Ricketts Family c/o TD Ameritrade $13.5M
    • Bernard Marcus, Marcus Foundation $13.9M

The main reasons I continue to focus on the Mercers? Simple Cambridge Analytica, using PACs & SuperPACs to circumvent the campaign finance laws, Citizens United and . But mostly importantly, it bothers me that the <1% “donations” carry far more weight than your vote or mine. In my opinion Citizens United is a threat to our democracy, as are PACs, SuperPACs and lobbyist.

I have a very hard time believing that our Founding Fathers wanted party tribalism, where compromise is considered bad. Where bipartisanship meant Trump would use his twitter account as a weapon to bully & intimate members of his own party and the opposing party. Where Congress has abdicated its Constitutional Authority to act as a Check and Balance against the executive branch. No really what part of 3 co-equal branches of Government do the Republicans and Trump not understand?

Let’s go ahead and dive into the deep end of the dark money ocean, shall we?

There are various “parameters” I use when searching the FEC database:

    • Dr. Robert L Mercer
    • Robert Mercer
    • Robert L Mercer
    • Robert Leroy Mercer
    • Robert and Diana Mercer

John Bolton SuperPAC

October & December 2017 Robert Leroy Mercer made 2 donations of $500,000 each to John Bolton’s SuperPAC for a cumulative total of $1M. See pages 13 & 14 of the John Bolton SuperPAC 2017 Q4 FEC filing, here

Protect The House PAC

Oh Bob what a wonderful Valentines Day gift, you really shouldn’t have...but you DID, you really did. February 14, 2018 Robert Mercer donation of $366,100.00 See page 8 of Protect The House PAC 2018 Q1 FEC filing, here

Kelli Ward aka KelliPAC

has two main benefactors, drum roll ...

Robert & Diana Mercer July 27, 2017 $300,000 donation. See page 6 of KelliPAC’s July FEC filing, found here. and Andrew Beal (put a pin in that guy. I’ll do a follow up entry later on)

Team Ryan PAC

How sweet a matching Mr & Mrs Mercer donation of $247,700.00 each as in total donations from the Mercers of $495,400.00

I refer you to pages 475 and 476 of Team Ryan PAC July 2017 Quarterly FEC Report, found here

Massachusetts First c/o Bulldog Compliance

I refer you to page 6 of their July 2017 bi-Annual FEC Report, found here. Robert Mercer’s $150,000 donation.

Also there’s an Easter Egg in that FEC Report. Okay fine, it’s the Deep Root Analytica expenditure...200M voter data breached, see Fortune Magazine’s June 2017 article, found here.

From the Gizmodo article, found here which is curious to me, the RNC and the Mercers paid Deep Root nearly $1M for data Mining and Deep Root “accidentally released some 200M voter PII” I mean come on.

Deep Root Analytics, a conservative data firm that identifies audiences for political ads, confirmed ownership of the data to Gizmodo on Friday.

UpGuard cyber risk analyst Chris Vickery discovered Deep Root’s data online last week. More than a terabyte was stored on the cloud server without the protection of a password and could be accessed by anyone who found the URL.

Many of the files did not originate at Deep Root, but are instead the aggregate of outside data firms and Republican super PACs, shedding light onto the increasingly advanced data ecosystem that helped propel President Donald Trump’s slim margins in key swing states.

RNC 2017 Donations

At first glance most people would assume these are duplicative reports, given the RNC FEC May 2017 filing is over 4K pages long. I’m not most people. There’s a unique identifier in each of these entries, it’s a transaction number that’s automatically populated. I refer you to pages: 1,241 & 1,242 & 3,989 & 3,990 & 3,191 in the RNC May 2017 FEC Report, here.

Earlier in this entry, I aggregated the actual search parameters. Well there’s a reason, each parameter returns different data.

Raw FEC 2017-2018 Data for: Robert L Mercer found here

Raw FEC 2015-2016 Data for: Robert L Mercer, Dr Robert Mercer, Diana Mercer, Robert Mercer found here

In the 2015-2016 election cycle the Mercers donated tens of millions of dollars. The vast majority went to SuperPACs and that money later matriculated to Cambridge Analytica, a company owned by the Mercers. Which makes me wonder, is this a campaign laundermat? How much dirty money has trickled into our election system? Alex I’d like Corrupt politics for $2,000

Also it’s not like I haven’t tweeted about this Ad nauseam oh wait.

Yes I have, repeatedly:

And here:

  • KelliPAC
  • Protect the House
  • John Bolton PAC
  • John Bolton SuperPAC 👉🏻Kevin Nicholson PAC
  • Solutions for Wisconsin
  • Black Americans for a Better America
  • Make America Number 1 PAC
  • Massachusetts First
  • Stand Firm America

to date no one has provided an answer to the question I posed when I read through Cambridge Analytica Bankruptcy filing...why is the SEC, FEC and Senator Thune along with several State Attorneys General listed as creditors on the Mercer’s Company colloquially known as Cambridge Analytica? I’m still waiting for an answer, I called Cambridge Analytica’s NYC office, shocker no one answered the phone.

A worthwhile second read. Link to article here

And  my closing thought:

Cambridge Analytica is...

...Robert and Rebekah Mercer

NEVER Forget that

...Kellyanne Conway tied to the hip with Becky...
